Uri Taiber, Founder and CEO

Uri Taiber is a veteran insurance expert. Prior to establishing InsFocus, Uri was the General Manager of Zion Insurance Company, one of Israel’s first insurance companies (founded 1935). He holds an MBA degree from IMEDE Switzerland and a B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Hanan Taiber, CTO

Hanan Taiber is the company’s CTO and R&D manager. Hanan has extensive system development experience and previously worked for Seabridge Networks. Hanan holds a Computer Science cum laude from IDC Herzliya and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. He is also a TDWI Certified Business Intelligence Professional.

Meir Shavit, Board Member

From 1992-1995, Meir Shavit was Commissioner of Capital Market, Insurance & Savings – Israeli Ministry of Finance. He previously served as VP Finance of Ararat Insurance Company, Economic Assistant to the Israeli Minister of Finance, Chairman of Karnit (statutory fund for reimbursement to individuals injured in car accidents), and director in the pool for bodily injury obligatory insurance.

Uri Lotan, Board Member

Mr. Uri Lotan has over 30 years of international managerial experience in technology enterprises and is currently the Executive Chairman of MCE Systems. Previously, he served as the Marketing Manager for Scitex Japan, a world leader in electronic prepress. Later, he set up and managed Orbot SA, the European subsidiary of Orbot Systems, a manufacturer of equipment for inspecting and imaging printed circuit boards and flat panel displays.

Mely Lerman, Life Insurance Consultant

For more than 35 years, Mely Lerman has successfully developed and delivered software for the life insurance, pensions, annuities, and health insurance industries in the UK, Switzerland, France, Germany, Israel, and Brazil. In Israel, he built and implemented many of the life insurance systems used today. Mely has also worked as a consultant for IBM, EDS, Amdocs, TCS, and Ness. Between 2003 and 2006, Mely Lerman was Sapiens International's VP Insurance, Life & Pensions.

Otto de Bont, Representative to the Netherlands

Otto de Bont has 35 years of international insurance and reinsurance experience. His career began with the Netherlands Reinsurance Group, in which he held various managerial positions. In 1991, he was offered the position of President of the Philadelphia Re, Pennsylvania. Later, Otto joined the ReMark Group, an international direct marketer of life products, from which he is now retired.

Betsalel Tsuriel, IT Advisor

Betsalel Tsuriel is an IT expert with over 20 years of experience. In the past, he headed the CRM department of a leading Israeli software company. Previously, Betsalel was a project manager at IBM-Israel and managed large IT projects, including ERP and others.

Sharon Eizenshtein , BI Advisor

Sharon Eizinshtein has been active in the IT and BI fields since 1997. He has complete BI lifecycle project management experience, including planning, risk management, quality assurance, and reporting tools. Sharon serves as a strategic, business, and operational BI consultant for a number of companies in Israel and has extensive technical and business experience.
